Confused on page 52 of todays mail newspaper has a feature on a lady claiming just five minutes in an ice chamber made her feel years younger!!!

Do I take it ice chambers coming to a high street near us all for assistance??

I am open minded about claims of someone with arthritis feeling better after xyz..............wonder if we all benefit from an ice chamber, or investing in a walk in home freezer?

My intention of this post is a light hearted chuckle, not to imply we must self freeze ourselves.

I like the idea of the sun with vitamin d right now, and some low calorie icecream!

Oooh chilly! With temperatures soaring I could quite fancy a chill for 5 minutes.

I read that all the major athletes like Andy Murray have an ice bath after their exertions so perhaps there is some benefit in cooling everything down. I certainly found some relief by spraying cold water on my poor feet and knees, but I'm not sure I'm brave enough for ice!

I could definitely do with a walk in freezer though - mainly to keep all the flavours of icecream!!!!!

Hi all, I suppose its just like one ginormous ice pack!!! Find a hot pack better myself, but no intention of climbing in the oven though just cooking in the kitchen these last few days shoild do the job!!
Seriously though, I do know of someone who had such painful ra that he used to hold his hands in the freezer in desperation and just hold them there for a while.

When I was in a flare so bad that I could barely move at all, and the pain was excruciating, I found that ice packs resting on my shoulders provided welcome relief. However other people swear by heat for RA......so I don't know. Naomi.
